A family tradition during the holiday season for many locals, Newport News Park is transformed into a Winter Wonderland by over 500,000 individual lights creating a drive through holiday light event. The Celebration in Lights, creating animated holiday and whimsical scenes, is a
beautiful event you won’t want to miss. Every year new creativity is shown in scenes of Santas, Nativities, Christmas trees, dancing Candy Canes and Gum Drops, Winter Wonderlands, and more. The event is open each evening, 5:30 - 10:00 p.m., all the way through New Year’s Day. Share the magic with your loved ones in the merriest season of them all!
