Presentation1-1.jpg

Liz Moore and Associates is excited to announce that we are expanding our reach to the Richmond market opening an office in Midlothian, Virginia.  Liz Moore’s first Richmond area office is scheduled to open September 1st.

This new office will introduce the Richmond market to the Liz Moore & Associates brand, a real estate company focused on the client experience with client-centered services like pre-listing inspections and appraisals, exceptional customer service, and creative marketing strategies.

The Midlothian based office will be led by Tonya Morrow as Richmond Managing Broker.  Tonya is recognized as an innovator in Richmond area real estate, bringing with her a successful track record in sales management.  Morrow, who recently completed the Richmond Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy, is highly respected by local agents for her creative ideas and results driven coaching.

Annemarie Hensley, currently ranked fourth in overall residential resale sales volume in the local market, will serve as the anchor agent for the new office, bringing her team of 5 to the new venture.

Liz Moore & Associates was founded in 2003 by President Liz Moore and her partner Brian D. Lytle, with a vision for an enlightened real estate agency where all the greatest agents want to work, and where business is solidly built on enthusiastic referrals and out-of-the box marketing techniques.  Liz built the company from the inside out, creating the systems and resources that would allow agents to “wow” clients by delivering exceptional customer service.  Liz is very excited to expand and serve the growing Richmond market.

“I’ve always been interested in expanding into key markets in the Commonwealth, and when this opportunity presented itself, it was simply too good to pass up,” says Liz Moore.  “I was approached by two very accomplished women who were interested in introducing the Liz Moore brand to the Richmond market; they saw the need for a boutique brokerage with a laser focus on the client experience, and our plan is to fill that gap.”

Food Bank Fundraiser Success!

Posted by Lynnette Tully on Thu, Jul 28, 2016 @ 04:06 PM

Our Food Bank Fundraiser and Children's Can Building Competition was a huge success!  The team fromLiz Moore and Associates, along with help from WISC, Ironbound Gym and Kiwanis Club, collected over 1,600 cans of food.  These donations are helping our local food bank prepare for their summer food service program which is designed to fill the nutrition gap and make sure children get the nutritious meals they need while school is out.

We had four teams of kids, and one "dad team" that couldn't resist the fun, build houses with the non-perishable food items that were collected.  The winning house was built by Joseph Carr and Amelia Troup. They were both awarded Fun Passes to Busch Gardens, and all participants received a gift card to Sweet Frog.

Thank you to all who helped make this event not only fun, but successful!  We can't wait to do it again next year.

Liz Moore & Associates Partering with the Linda Matney Fine Art Gallery and ArtCNU Alumni to Display Local Art in Oyster Point Office

Posted by Lynnette Tully on Thu, Mar 31, 2016 @ 11:27 AM

Liz Moore & Associates is excited to partner with the Linda Matney Fine Art Gallery and ArtCNU alumni to display local art in the lobby of their Oyster Point office.

The art will be unveiled on Friday, April 15th and will be accompanied by a wine and cheese reception from 5-7pm.

The CNU Show is curated by John Lee Matney, owner and director of the Linda Matney Fine Art Gallery and Capture-5.jpgChristi HarrisChair of the Department of Fine Art and Art History at Christopher Newport University and will run through June 2, 2016.

"The CNU exhibit at Liz Moore and Associates is a natural extension of what the gallery has been doing for over 5 years which is exploring the commercial potential as well as the integrity of art projects as exhibits of cultural importance. The artists' statements speak of various interpretations of current life in the US and the work is progressive on various levels with regards to theme, color, and design, and these are the very reasons the art has integrity in the contemporary home or office.

Kristin and Alan Skees are helping to shape the Studio Art program at CNU in the Department of Fine Art and Art History.  They are also incredibly successful and prodigious artists.  Their artwork is contemporary because it takes things from today’s society and processes them through individual filters.  The first filter would be handcrafts in relationship to domesticity with a humorous sensibility and simultaneous metaphorical content. The second filter would be processing (literally) and disassembling the world into techie tidbits of data and dabbling in the delights of tinkering and programming.

The wonderful ArtCNU alumni included in this exhibit are Shaun Whiteside and Ryan Lytle.  They are both prolific and driven as artists.  They embody what they teach in our department, and what art professors intend for students to achieve with their work.

Shaun’s work is very focused on process, of manipulation of materials to create a meditative and dynamic space in order to express uncertainty and error in the political world around us.  Ryan is a recent graduate with an upcoming senior thesis exhibit at CNU.  Ryan is infinitely creative, a builder.  He can make whatever figment his mind comes up with in a resolved and unified, structurally sound sculpture.

Linda Matney Gallery has watched the careers of some of our represented artists move forward in the cutting edge decorative and investment art categories.  Our facilitation and collaborations with these artists have helped to inspire and build the trust of the art buying public as they explore the deeper catalogues of artists.  Though the artists in this exhibition are very recently associated with the gallery, they have some of the same qualities of the best artists we’ve worked with over the last five years." ~ John Lee Matney

Liz Moore Military Team Receives a Note of Thanks from Deployed Troops

Posted by Lynnette Tully on Thu, Jun 11, 2015 @ 02:31 PM

The Military Team at Liz Moore and Associates, with help from other agents and clients, recently sent over 150 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to troops serving overseas.  This is something the team does every year to say "thank you" to the men and women that fight for our freedom.

The Military Team received a letter of thanks, along with a photo, from Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto Cano, Honduras.

Liz Moore Military Team

"It's simple gestures like what you guys did that have an astronomical effect on service members that are deployed or away from friends and family for a while.  I can't relay the feeling you get when you get a box or piece of mail and get to escape from where you're at, if only for a minute.  Having been deployed four times, I still get butterflies when it's time to check the mail," one solider said in an excerpt from the letter.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this cause!
