Liz Moore Cupcake Wars is Back!

Posted by Lynnette Tully on Thu, Jan 13, 2022 @ 10:23 AM

CupcakeWars2022_LogoOur Annual Cupcake Wars fundraiser will be held on Friday, February 11th from 11am – 2pm (or until we run out of cupcakes) in all four Liz Moore offices!

After having to cancel last year because of COVID, we can't wait for this year's event.  In 2020, we raised over $10,000 in just a few hours and are shooting to beat that number this year.

Get creative and donate your prize winning treats, or stop by and pick up some baked goods for your sweet tooth. All proceeds will go to CHKD, Comfort Zone Camp, and Smith Point Sea Rescue.

For more information, email info@lizmoore.com.

Can't make it to the event?  Click here to make an online donation.

Liz Moore & Associates Chili Cook-Off Raises Money for Sanctuary Rescue

Posted by Lynnette Tully on Wed, Oct 20, 2021 @ 02:28 PM

We had am absolute blast our our Richmond Office's Chili Cook-Off.  Friends gathered for drinks, games, kids' activities, delicious chili, and more.  $325 was raised for Sanctuary Rescue in Midlothian, Virginia.

Sanctuary Rescue a small, foster-based animal rescue located in Midlothian.  They consist of dedicated animal lovers who open their homes to foster those that have been left behind. They pull our dogs from high-kill shelters where they would otherwise not stand a chance. They "specialize" in saving pregnant and nursing mama dogs and orphaned puppies who are especially vulnerable in shelters. They also save adult dogs looking for a new life.

Thank you to all who came out for this great event!

We are collecting jars of peanut butter during the month of August to help restock our local food banks in time for the new school year. Drop of your donations to any Liz Moore office. And word on the street is there's a competition between the offices to see who can collect the most, so choose wisely 😉.

Patriotic Picnic FB and IG Graphic

Liz Moore and Associates was excited to have joined forces with MISSION BBQ to pledge our allegiance to our community with our 1st Annual American Flag Exchange Program.

The event was held at the Liz Moore Richmond office at 14061 Midlothian Turnpike on June 19th. Visitors traded in their old Stars and Stripes for a brand-new three-foot by five-foot American flag. Worn, faded, or torn American flags were be traded in for new flags.

The old flags were retired and respectfully disposed of in accordance with the US Flag Code. It was a great day with Mission BBQ, games, music, and fun!  Tshirt sales even raised money for Wounded Warrior Project.
