Liz Moore & Associates Annual Cupcake Wars Event Raises Money for Comfort Zone Camp
Liz Moore & Associates will be holding their annual Cupcake Wars fundraiser this year on February 11th to raise money for Comfort Zone Camp.
The first Liz Moore Cupcake Wars was held in 2011 and the Richmond office joined the efforts in 2017 after opening their location in 2016.
Liz Moore and Associates has raised close to $2,500 for Comfort Zone Camp to date.
“This has always been my favorite fundraiser,” says Liz Moore, “the agents and staff are so creative and come up with such clever ideas. Every year they out-do themselves!”
Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement organization that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Their programs are free of charge and include trust-building activities and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone’s programs are offered to children ages 7-17, and their families for the family programs, plus they offer young adult programs for 18-25-year-olds.
Stop by any Liz Moore location on February 11th between 11 and 2, make a donation, and take home some cupcakes for a great cause.
