The National Association of REALTORS recently released some highlights from their 2015 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, with a section devoted to the home buyer and real estate professionals. Did you know:
- 87% of buyers recently purchased their home through a real estate agent or broker, and 8% purchased
directly from a builder or builder’s agent. - Having an agent to help them find the right home was most important to buyers when choosing an agent at 53%.
- 41% of buyers used an agent that was referred to them by a friend, neighbor, or relative.
- Nearly 7 in 10 buyers interviewed only one real estate agent during their home search.
- 88% of buyers would use their agent again or recommend their agent to others.
