Williamsburg's newest brewpub, Amber Ox, is now open at 521 Prince George Street in Williamsburg.

They serve farm-to-table and Southern-style cuisine with a contemporary twist, offering fare like sweet tea-brined pork chops, shrimp and grits and pimento macaroni and cheese.

Amber Ox brews its own unique beers — like its Country Brunch Stout, Gritz pilsner and Kung Fu Kitten IPA — but also showcases Virginia and regional craft beers, ciders, liquors and all Virginia wines.

Some of our favorite clients were treated to a VIP Soft Opening of the brewpub last week and experienced all that this new spot has to offer!

"When inspiration hits, sometimes it’s with a mouthwatering plate of smoked beef brisket with spicy tomato chowchow and a mug of full-bodied craft beer. At least that’s how the idea for the Amber Ox came to us. We’ve been friends for decades, working and collaborating together in the restaurant industry, and we share a passion for great food and craft beer. We saw a need for a cool, creative, casual and approachable new eating and drinking establishment in Williamsburg, and we decided to meet it." - Co-owners Chris Cook and Andrew Voss
