Check out this recently renovated 10,500 square-foot exhibit that examines 16,000 years of Virginia history! The exhibit features over 500 artifacts, letters, diaries and maps including early stone tools and a satellite built by high school students in 2013. Artifacts and objects in the exhibit are supplemented by video, images, soundscapes and hands-on interactive areas. Be sure to see this exciting historical adventure for yourself and watch Virginia’s history come alive! The Story of Virginia Exhibit is free and the Virginia Historical Society is open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
