According to the Virginia Home Sales Report First Quarter 2014 published by the Virginia Association of REALTORS, median sales price stayed fairly stable throughout the state. Only Southwest Virginia experienced a significant change (-16.7%). Our market, Hampton Roads/Chesapeake Bay, dropped just 1.4% from $195,000 to $192,250.

Based on state trends, VAR says we can expect to see increases in prices in all regions through the second quarter.
