Sanctuary Rescue a small, foster-based animal rescue located in Midlothian. They consist of dedicated animal lovers who open their homes to foster those that have been left behind. They pull our dogs from high-kill shelters where they would otherwise not stand a chance. They "specialize" in saving pregnant and nursing mama dogs and orphaned puppies who are especially vulnerable in shelters. They also save adult dogs looking for a new life as well.
