Waller Mill Park in Williamsburg, Virginia is home to a nine hole Disc Golf course (with 18 holes opening Spring 2015). Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or frisbee. The sport, which was first played in the 1970s, shares a similar goal with traditional golf of completing a hole in the fewest number of strokes (or in this case, throws). Players will have a choice of two tee pads at each hole from which to throw their discs along the fairway towards the metal basket.
Rates at Waller Mill Park are $2 per person for a day pass, or $37 per person for an annual pass (includes vehicle entrance). Disc rental is $1 per day, per person.
