When a home goes on the market, it is very common for neighbors to be nervous over who the new owners will be.  Will they be loud?  Will they take care of the yard?  Will their kids getselling my home along with my kids?

Why not enlist your neighbors to help find a buyer for your home?  After all, they have skin in the game!  There are several ways you can do this.

1.  Email Your Neighbors
Send the pdf of your listing flyer to your neighbors via emailAsk them to pass along the flyer to their personal network and to anyone they know who might be looking to move into the neighborhood.

2.  Facebook Neighborhood Group
Does your neighborhood have a Facebook group?  Post the basic info on your home, along with a photo or two, and ask the members to help find a buyer.  You can also post the link to your property’s individual website from Liz Moore and Associates.  Facebook posts are sharable, so you can get a lot of social mileage out of just a few minutes of work.

3.  Neighborhood Bulletin Boards
If there are locations throughout the neighborhood (pool, restaurants/coffee shops, schools, churches) that have community bulletin boards, post your listing flyer there.  It can’t hurt and you never know who will see it!

4.  Neighborhood Newsletter
Look into running a “help me sell my house” ad in your neighborhood’s newsletter.

Tapping into your neighbors and their personal networks can be a great way to get the word out on your home.  Plus you are giving your neighbors the opportunity to, in a roundabout way, help pick their new neighbor.
