Winter is here, and the snow and cold temperatures that are gripping most of the country are proof!  Just because the flowers aren't blooming and the sun isn't shining, doesn't mean you can't have your home on the market for sale. You just need to be thinking about these five things (according to Fox Business):how to sell your home

1.  Take the "Prep Work" Serious
The cold weather is more likely to expose any potential problems with the home, like drafty windows or heating issues.

2.  Safety
If you have snow, make sure the driveway and walk ways are always shoveled. You don’t want to risk having people fall while viewing your home.

3.  Curb Appeal
Flowers and greenery might not be an option during the winter months, but you can boost curb appeal by making sure the leaves are raked, the snow is shoveled and the shrubs are trimmed.

4.  Highlight the Cozy Features
Take advantage of the opportunity to highlight features that are appealing during cold weather, such as a fireplace or cozy reading nook.

5.  Set the Right Price
If you set the price too high and the home is still sitting come spring when there will be a flood of inventory, you might be forced to reduce the price.
