Granted, I am an American History major, but undoubtedly one of the coolest things about living in the Historic Triangle is the opportunity to walk on the Battlefields at Yorktown.Yorktown Victory Center

And the place that best captures that awe of history, and the tragic but victorious battlefields, is the Yorktown Victory Center. This center is a very special museum that chronicles the American Revolution, in the middle of battlefields, and remembers the Siege at Yorktown.  Here you will find live artillery demonstrations, as well as parades that recapture the celebration, and reenactments that help us to better grasp the meaning of these historical scenes and amazing stories of our forefathers.
