When you sell your home, your agent will coordinate many "behind the scenes" activities that will help get your property in front of as many potential buyers as possible, as well as in front of other agents who have clients looking for homes.  checklist.jpg

Once the photography is complete, we will order “just listed” postcards and glossy, color feature sheets. We use a graphic designer, and the turnaround can be up to a week depending on the number of new listings hitting the market at that time (or more, depending on how much back and forth with edits and proofs).

Once your listing is “live” in MLS, then we order the sign and lock box to be installed. MLS rules prohibit us from putting up a sign before the listing is active (which makes sense – we wouldn’t want a prospective buyer to call their agent after seeing the sign, and the agent not have access to the listing information). Accordingly, our sign installer has to juggle multiple orders each day, and his schedule cannot always be predicted in advance due to volume and the distance between listings. He guarantees us that your sign will be installed within 72 hours of the listing going live, and we try our best to make it happen the day after, if his schedule allows.

In many cases, we are required to call Miss Utility in advance of installing your sign, and will need to wait for demarcation of utility lines. If you have an invisible fence, or a special request regarding the placement of your sign, please let me know BEFORE the listing is active, so that I can include that on the work order.

Putting your home on the market can be overwhelming, so we’ve prepared this guide as an overview of what you can expect each step of the way when you list your home with Liz Moore & Associates.
