Liz Moore & Associates is excited to partner with the Linda Matney Fine Art Gallery to display local art in the lobby of their Oyster Point office.

The first pieces of art will be unveiled on Thursday, October 8th and will be accompanied by a wine and cheese reception from 4-6pm.

Curator John Lee Matney, drawing from works of various genres by artists from Virginia and elsewhere, speaks about works from four artists which comprise a survey exhibit at the office of Liz Moore and Associates at City Center.

Local artist Gloria Coker will be in attendance fresh from her participation in Matney's pop up exhibit collaboration with LAS BICICLETAS.   LAS BICICLETAS is an urban art exhibit created by Mexican artist Gilberto Aceves Navarro.

UVA professor Megan Marlatt's large scale figurative work is included and features intricately rendered depictions of toys in a chaotic yet ordered "landscape".

Jeff Surace's Appalachian landscape and the wood art of Jean Gray Mohs explore more idyllic themes of nature as well as abstraction.

Join Liz Moore & Associates each quarter as they unveil a new works of art in their building.  For more information, email info@lizmoore.com
