Halloween ushers in a lot of candy and decorations each year, but do you know its spooky origins? Come learn all about it atHalloween History of Hanover! This historical walking tour will teach you about how the celebration of Halloween evolved after the colonial era and how mid-1800s immigrants influenced the way that Richmonders celebrate Halloween today. The tour is presented by The Valentine as part of the Richmond 
History Tours Program and meets at the intersection of Hanover Avenue and Strawberry Street. Reservations are required and the tour is $15 per person or $5 per person for Valentine members. On-street parking is available. This tour meets on Saturday, October 28th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
