Where else can you wander through a colonial era, greeting modern day locals, surrounded byDuke of Gloucester Street old shoppes that offer a beautiful glimpse from the past?  DOG Street, in Williamsburg Virginia, is a great place to go for a run, walk your dog, or just head out for a Sunday stroll. During the holidays, check out the wreath competition for ideas! Walk past the Governor’s Palace, the capital building, or the courthouse. Some of the other local phenomenon include the Blacksmith shop, magazine (Wbg’s arsenal of gunpowder and firearms), coffeehouse, silversmith and wigmaker.  There is also a scavenger hunt, featuring inspired games for the historic area, with an online component (this involves 18th century espionage as you race to protect the identity of a crucial patriot on the eve of the Battle of Yorktown) – designed to prepare visitors for navigate the Revolutionary city, and to have a great time.
